Who We Are

Pacific Riding for Developing Abilities is a not-for-profit, therapeutic equestrian riding centre located in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. Through equestrian activities and with the involvement of the community, we enhance the quality of life for individuals with a wide range of abilities. PRDA therapeutic services are available year round, from our 15 acre facility, located on the edge of the idyllic trail system of Campbell Valley Regional Park.

Home to our herd of therapy horses, PRDA is the largest therapeutic equestrian facility in Canada. Our services currently provide individualized therapy for up to 150 riders per week. Utilizing an array of adaptive equipment and settings we strive to create an inclusive environment where all riders are able to participate to their full capacity and reach their therapy goals. Some of our riders are able to ride independently with only the services of a Therapeutic Riding Instructor. Others can require up to 5 people, with a variety of certifications and training, to facilitate their therapeutic needs.

As a Canadian not-for-profit society, PRDA is overseen by a volunteer Board of Governance and lead by the PRDA Executive Director, Michelle Ingall.

PRDA is a member of the Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association (CanTRA) and is a registered Canadian charitable organization.

We are thrilled to be celebrating 50 years of service in 2023!
